What can I do with this circle punch??

While decorating our baby's nursery I ran into a problem. What do I put on the wall behind the crib? I don't typically adhere to all the infant guidelines (notice the crib bumpers). But, things hanging on the wall above the crib make me a little nervous. Luckily, I found this lovely tutorial on Pinterest (Dot mobile). It's light, cute AND I could finally reuse the circle punch I bought to make Drew's Lego invitations 6 months earlier! I bought pink cardstock and came up with this fun mobile!

While we were decorating I learned how fantastic Mod Podge can be. For just a couple dollars I was able to make these pieces for my baby girl's nursery.

It's amazing what a piece of wood and scrapbooking paper can become!

Our Nursery Makeover

I am so happy with Arabella's nursery transformation! Andy did a fantastic job on the woodwork and I love the way it has all come together. Here are some photos.

I Like Big Bows

"It's a girl!"

Three little words that changed this G.I. Joe playing, Lego building momma into a bow making maniac! Having had two little boys in less than two years I was ready for a splash of pink. Little did I know that fabric, tulle and ribbon would soon take over my craft room.

I have always enjoyed creating and crafting. When I was a child I spent the summer days with my grandparents. When we weren't watching our soaps (love me some Days of our Lives) my grandmother would teach me how to crochet and knit. In college I made scarves for everyone and for my first Mother's Day my husband bought me a sewing machine that I taught myself to sew with.

In the past nine months I have taken my occasional crafting to another level. Thanks to Pinterest and YouTube I have gotten tutorials and ideas for so many new projects. Bows, tutus and headbands line the walls around my craft space and ribbon and tulle overflow from the drawers. Seriously! It's messy, I need to clean!

Below are some of my latest creations, enjoy!
